All Saint’s Day

this month I turn 57 years young
i have accomplished all that i can in this life
there is no more to be
there is no more to do
i have been healed
i am whole, complete, healed
now i lay down my life
for all has been accomplished
i am already dead, for my life is over
there is nothing left to strive for
it’s over, and so, i surrender
i lay down my life

Now, i wait upon God
and God’s Voice to guide me
speak to me, Lord
let me hear Your Voice
let me follow Your plan for salvation
may You live my life
may everyone we meet
be reminded of Your love
and feel Your presence
and for a moment find some peace

And so it is, Amen
